Packages

Four levels of defence. One engineering standard.

Every package protects the same way — water and foam laid down before the fire arrives. They differ in how much of the property is covered, how independent the system is, and whether it acts on its own. Start where it makes sense — every system is built on the same backbone, so you can extend it later. Final specification follows a site survey.

  • Soaks the ground, planting and façade before a front arrives
  • Connected directly to the mains — no reserve tank required
  • Manual activation from the wall cabinet

All packages include design, installation, commissioning and handover training. Monitoring and servicing continue under an annual agreement.

Find your fit

Start from the thing that worries you most.

There is no wrong entry point. Every property can be defended at some level, and every level extends onto the same hydraulic backbone.

"I want to start somewhere sensible, without a big project."

Start with Basic

A perimeter line off your mains that soaks the ground and planting before a front arrives — installed on the same backbone everything else is built on, so nothing is wasted if you extend later.

"My worry is embers landing on the roof while we sleep."

Start with Essential

Full ridge and eave coverage plus valleys and terraces, with a redundant perimeter line. This is the step that protects the surface fires actually start on.

"If the mains drop or the power cuts, I still want it to run."

Start with Signature

Reserve tank, independent pump, battery or generator backup and Class A foam — the system stops depending on the grid and the street supply.

"We are often away, or there is more than one building to cover."

Start with Estate

Automatic activation on a detected fire perimeter, multi-zone control across buildings and grounds, on-site detection and 24/7 monitored oversight.

Still unsure? The survey ends with a written recommendation — not a sales pitch. Book a site survey.

What changes between packages

Each level adds one thing the level below does not have: the roof, then independence from the mains and the grid, then the ability to act on its own.

Insurance

A fire-safe home is becoming an insurable home.

Across southern Europe, wildfire losses are re-shaping the property market from the inside out. Insurers are re-rating high-risk postcodes, raising excesses, narrowing wildfire wording and, in the worst-exposed hillside zones, declining to quote at all. Mitigation is moving from a nice-to-have to the thing an underwriter asks about first.

We make no promise of a discount — that is your insurer's decision. What we do is give you evidence: a drawn specification, a commissioned wet test, and an annual readiness report your broker can put in front of an underwriter. A defended property with a documented, maintained system is a materially different risk to the one next door.

What you receive for the property file

  • Drawn system specification

Nozzle layout, hydraulic calculations and coverage zones for your exact plot.

  • Commissioning wet-test certificate

Documented proof the installed system performed to specification on handover.

  • Annual readiness report

Pre-season test, pump service and foam check, closed out in writing each year.

  • Maintenance record

A continuous service history — the evidence underwriters look for at renewal.

FireShield Technologies is not an insurer or broker and gives no guarantee of cover or premium reduction. Terms are always set by your insurer.

How it works

From first call to a system you can arm

  1. 01

    Site survey

We assess roof, plot, terrain, fuel load and water supply on site.

  2. 02

    Specification and quote

You receive a drawn design and a fixed price for your property.

  3. 03

    Installation

Discreet install by our own engineers, typically in a few days.

  4. 04

    Commissioning and handover

Full wet test, training for your household, and ongoing service.

Questions

Before you choose

Will this reduce my insurance premium?

We cannot promise a discount — that is the insurer's decision, and it varies by company and policy. What we can say is that in high-risk Mediterranean zones the question is increasingly whether cover is offered at all. A documented, professionally installed and annually certified defence system gives your broker something concrete to present, and every installation is handed over with the paperwork to do it.

Why are prices not listed?

Every property is different. Roof geometry, plot size, water pressure and terrain change the specification, so a fixed price only becomes meaningful after the survey. The survey ends with a written specification and carries no obligation.

Can I upgrade later?

Yes. Every package is built on the same hydraulic backbone, so Basic can be extended to Essential, Signature or Estate without replacing what is already installed.

What happens if I am not at the property?

Basic, Essential and Signature are activated manually at the wall cabinet, so someone needs to be at the property. Estate activates automatically when a fire perimeter is detected, with app control and 24/7 monitored oversight.

Does it work in a power cut?

From Signature upwards, yes — battery or generator backup keeps the pump running when the grid is down.
